Fishing occludes all other view.  The quotidian becomes the ethereal through this great venture..  The Thourouvian model of immersing the self in one speck of the univers seems right.  It's to know every corner, every bush, every clod of dirt and speck of sand.  It gives value to knwoledge gaining understanding through  application.
